Our vision and mission
Black Diamond Homes has been operating as ground-up developer, remodeling contractor, and realty company since 2006. We aim to support our clients throughout the full home buying and home ownership process. For many of the young couples that we work with, this is their first major purchase together… and boy is it a big one! That’s why we’re here to answer any questions and be a resource along the way. We work with renowned architects to make sure we have the latest and greatest incorporated into our homes. As designers, we make sure that our portfolio has something that meets the needs of everyone, and we’re happy to customize even further. Let’s go through some of our most popular styles so you know what you can choose from. We also are influenced by California Coastal homes, craftsman style, and mid-century modern.
Modern: These homes are built with clean lines and open floorplans. We use building elements like expansive glass and lighting fixtures and features that go with this sleek vibe.
Urban farmhouse: These homes are super charming! We take elements of modern farmhouse like warm tones, neutrals, and cozy aesthetics.
Transitional: This is a blend of classic and contemporary design so that you have a neutral style that appeals to the masses. Perfect if you’re planning to resell or rent your home down the line.
Traditional: For timeless elegance we use stone and brick on the exteriors and to enhance fireplaces and breakfast nooks.
European: Inspired by homes in the French countryside and English Tudor, we’ll bring in design elements to influence both the interiors and exteriors. We may even include some Bavarian style homes in our portfolio – these are definitely available on demand!
A family owned and operated business
What started as two brothers as evolved over the years to include sons and in-laws. All of our in-house team also feel like family at this point, to say the least! Our owners are actively involved on the day to day. You can see Matthew staying way past dinner time, engrossed in the latest construction plans and creating a task list to get the most pressing building permits underway. We want to make sure each project we undertake is executed seamlessly. That’s our commitment to our clients that we work to uphold every day. Our returning customer base is a testament to our work. Not only do families purchase their first home with us, but often their second and third! Heck, they even get their parents, neighbors, friends, and siblings to buy from us!
